Okay, when I first started scrapbooking I didn't put titles on my pages. I just threw a bunch of pics on there, a few embellies and it was a masterpiece, or at least I thought so. I've progressed to sticker titles, computer generated, stamped, rub ons, etc. Now, I'm loving the mix and matching. I'll do one word in stickers, another in rubons, and another in 3D tiles or something. I love the funkiness to it. My question to you is....... what is your favorite way to create a title? Are you a simple person who finds a title already made for them like a rub on or phrase, do you use alpha stickers to create your own title? Or do you prefer stamping it? And last, what is your secret? Do you have any special title techniques you would like to share?

For me, I lOVE mix and matching. I've been doing it more and more lately. I was a little intimidated at first so I started off small. I would just mix two products together, then three, then four until I was all kinds of funky. But when I'm in a hurry, I'm a huge fan of rub on titles. You can get them in books or packages and with one rub on you're done!!! Titles are always my hardest part of the layout. I can get everything else done but usually either have a title picked out before I start the layout, or I'll set the page aside for a day or two and ponder on it.
My tip is a great sticker tip....... I bought a see through ruler a while back and it's perfect for lining up your stickers JUST RIGHT! I hate it when they are all crooked on accident. I take my ruler and place it on my table. Then take the stickers of my title and start placing the very bottom edge of them on the ruler. Just enough to make it hold. And using the ruler to space my letters evenly and make them all the same horizontal position. After I have all the letters in place I can pick up my ruler and move it around my layout to figure out exactly where I want my title. Once I find a place, I set the ruler down, press down on the letters to make them stick to the Layout and then carefully lift my ruler and peel the bottoms off and lay them down as well. Hope this all makes sense.

I guess I don't always put titles. Sometimes it's as simple as just a lil journaling. I guess right now I don't have a real favorite. I bought this pack of punch out letters that I use alot. I have quite a few packs of sticker letters too. I've only worked with rub ons a lil bit so far. Sometimes I print things out using a card or scrapbooking program onto plain white paper and then mat it to make it go with the project. Love the sticker tip! We have a couple mostly transparent rulers around the house somewhere (they're the kids' so who knows where they may be ) maybe I'll give that a try sometime! Sometimes I intentionally make words all crooked n stuff on purpose so I don't hafta try and get them straight

I always have a title on my page--it looks awkward without it. I do my titles in many ways--using rubons, diecut letters, stickers. I don't mix n match--although I should try it. I also have a Cricut and do alot of my titles that way because I have the option of making the letters 1 inch to 6 inches tall. I will also use the computer to generate titles and print them out on cardstock.
