the friggin cat..... I wanna skin it alive! omg! grrrrrrrrrrr she's in heat and really annoying so I've been keeping her in the master bedroom with the door to the masterbath open (where her litterbox, food, and water are.) well, this morning, my 4yr old decided to lock the cat in the office instead of the bedroom! as soon as I realized the annoying meows were comin from the office, not the master, I went to let her out but could instantly smell something was not right in here I searched and searched and found a pair of pants on the floor of the closet with cat poop on them. grr Cleaned up that mess and thought that was that. Well... after a busy afternoon, I come home to find a note on the desk from hubby saying it smells like cat poop in here. WHAT?! I already cleaned it... so I thought. But... sure enough, I noticed it did still smell in here. So... on the hunt again I go and I dunno why I lookd in my scraptote... why would the cat go in there, right?! but I looked and THERE it was! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHH There it was, right on top roll of several ribbons, resting against some paper. ugh I carefully took it and EVERYTHING out of the tote to inspect and cleaned EVERYTHING with Lysol! I hope Lysol doesn't ruin the acid freeness or whatever of the scrapstuff I wanna scream.... and cry... and KILL the d**ned CAT!!

Oh man, I feel for you. That is exactly why I will not have a female cat without having her fixed. The yowling is enough to send a person into orbit and it goes on for days. When I was a teenager I had spent a week with a friend who had a cat that went into heat while I was visiting. Then and there made me realize when I had my own that it wouldn't have that chance to yowl when in heat. There was no sleeping or keeping the cat happy. UGH!

oh yes, we'll definately be gettin her fixed. it's mostly my procrastination that's kept it from happenin so far. this is the third time she's gone into heat, we've had her since she was only a few weeks old. most of the animals we've ever owned were always female and i dont' recall any others being this annoying! but, if they weren't already fixed when we got them, they were always soon fixed and/or spent alot of time outside lol i made the choice to keep this cat indoors when we got her, we had a really bad battle with fleas a couple years ago (before we had any pets!) so i didn't want a cat goin in and out possibly bringing fleas back into the house again. anyhow... she is just a strange strange cat. last time she went into heat she pooped all over the bathroom.

Yeah, she's gonna have those kitties any day now and I can't get her to stay in one place. She's searching for a place to have them and I DEF don't want her having them on my bed or couch, LOL.

I don't think any of my mom's cats ever had their babies where we wanted them to. They always went and found some hiding place. Maybe if you put a box that is mostly closed up, just enough opening for her to get in and out, inside the closet she'll find it dark and secluded enough?
